Why should I choose 'Floor and room of choice' Delivery?
This delivery option is best for larger orders that require delivery to an apartment building where your unit is on the 1st floor or high, if you prefer not to handle heavy or bulky items yourself, or if you need the order delivered to a higher floor in a multi-level house. A delivery driver will bring your order into your home and place it in one room of your choice.
Cost considerations: 'Floor and room of choice' is priced higher than 'Ground Floor delivery' due to the extra time and effort our transport partners exert during delivery. The exact fee is calculated at checkout based on your address and total order weight. The weight and price levels are:
0 - 200 kg: €74.98
201 - 500 kg: €99.98
501 - 5000 kg: €144.98
Timing and scheduling factors: Depending on your postcode, you can choose among different time windows on your chosen delivery date.
Item size and type restrictions: Ideal for larger, bulky items (e.g. sofas, wardrobes, or kitchen appliances) that might be challenging to move yourself. The Floor and room of choice delivery must always be booked when an external elevator is needed.
Location/distance factors: Ideal for those who live in an apartment building on the first floor or higher. Appropriate for homes with accessible entry points, including apartments with elevator or a safe stairway (note any restrictions such as up to and including fourth floor of the building if no elevator is available).
Customer effort required: Minimal effort is required on your part since the delivery driver handles the heavy lifting inside to one room of your choice. This can include bringing the items to a higher floor of a multi-level house to your chosen room.
