How is the return policy at IKEA?
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you're not completely happy or simply changed your mind, IKEA products can be returned within 365 days - 90 days for mattresses.
Please note that this doesn’t apply to mattress pads or toppers. They are considered as usual products.
a) Within 90 days:
The refund of the full amount will be done on a refund card.
Mattresses bought abroad and returned in Switzerland will be refunded of their original amount on a refund card.
b) After 90 days:
Returns of mattresses after 90 days can only happen if they are still in their original package, unopened and unused. The refund of the full amount will be done on a refund card.
Quality issues are not part of our return policy but part of our claim policy. Check your warranty and bring your mattress back in a store for a quality expertise. Based on the result of the expertise, you will either get a refund card, have to to recycle it at your own cost or keep it.
c) Without receipt:
Returns of mattresses without receipt is still possible if they're still in our range and in their original package, unopened and unused. The refund of the full amount will be done on a refund card.
If you wish to cancel the order of custom-made product, please contact us as soon as possible so that we try and stop its fabrication, this to avoid any non-refundable fees.
Products that have been made for you cannot be sold at their original price anymore, that's why a return is only possible within one year with a 10% deduction of their original price.
