Parcel delivery

Our quick delivery method for small orders of up to 30 kg by parcel post.

Our quick delivery method for small orders of up to 30 kg by parcel post. Our service partner will deliver your package to your home or you can choose to pick it up at one of many DPD pick-up points.

Good to know

  • Your order cannot be more than 30kg in weight and 100cm x 60cm x 60cm in size.
  • You will see whether your order can be delivered as a parcel when you place your items in the shopping cart.
  • DPD will send you further information about your order via e-mail or SMS, with the possibility to control your delivery.

Curbside delivery*

We will prepare your order and our service partner will deliver your furniture to the curb in front of your house or office, from where you can retrieve it.

Delivery from IKEA store

  • You need your goods quickly (1-10 days) and have a smaller order, then this delivery method is right for you.

Delivery from warehouse

  • If you are planning for the long term (15 days at the earliest) and have a larger order, we recommend this delivery method.

Price: CHF 89.95

Leadtime:

  • Delivery from IKEA store: within 1 to 10 days
  • Delivery from warehouse: at least 15 days after order

Curbside delivery

  • We will deliver your order to your curb, or as close to your address as vehicle access allows. The driver will hand the delivery note to you personally.
  • Flat rate for deliveries up to 299 kg
  • Only valid in Switzerland.

Price: 49.95

Delivery time: approx. 1-10 days

  • can only be booked within a limited delivery zone; if this delivery option is available for your address, it will be automatically displayed during the ordering process.
  • Currently only available within the express zone of IKEA stores and only for items that are available at the store.
  • This delivery option cannot be combined with other offers such as assembly and recycling services. (My order)
  • Due to logistical reasons, packaging is not returnable.
  • This delivery option can only be booked at an IKEA store or online.

How will my order be delivered?

  • When placing your order you can choose the delivery date. You will receive a SMS or e-mail from our service partner one day before the delivery date to confirm a 2-hour delivery window for the next day.
  • On the day of delivery our service partner will call you 30 minutes before delivery.
  • The driver will have you sign for the delivery. Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery when it is scheduled to arrive.

  • When you order online, this service can be combined with other offers, such as assembly and recycling services.
  • Additional costs may be charged for restricted or difficult access areas where special delivery equipment is required (e.g. a crane).
  • Only valid in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Delivery from IKEA store

  • Flat rate for deliveries up to 3000 kg.We will prepare an individual quotation for deliveries over 3,000kg. Please contact us directly.
  • Can only be booked within a limited delivery zone. If this delivery option is available for your address, it will be automatically displayed during the ordering process.
  • When you order online, this service cannot be combined with other offers, such as assembly and recycling services.
  • Additional fees may be charged for places that have limited access or are difficult to reach.
  • Only valid in Switzerland.

How will my order be delivered?

  • When you place your order you will be able to choose a 4-hour window during which your order will be delivered. Our delivery partner will contact you by phone 30 minutes before your delivery is set to arrive.
  • The driver will have you sign for the delivery. Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery when it is scheduled to arrive.

FAQs about deliveries

How can I check the status of my order?

Please log in and use our order tracking. Enter your order number and e-mail address.

How does the availability situation affect my delivery?

Due to the current unprecedented situation, our supply chain may be disrupted. If your delivery is affected, we might have to remove some late items from your order in order to keep your promised delivery date. The amount of these items will be refunded to you. We apologise for any inconvenience and are working hard to provide you with the shopping experience you are used to.

Can I change a scheduled delivery date?

You can change a delivery date yourself by going to your order history in your profile. If you do not have an account, you can change your truck delivery date here.

You cannot change the delivery date for parcel deliveries.

If you change the delivery date less than 24 hours before scheduled delivery, you may be charged an additional fee.

How do I return a delivery or part of a delivery?

You can return your products within 365 days (mattresses 90 days) with the till receipt. Returns are free of charge at the store. You can now speed up the process even more by registering your returns online. We also offer a collection service and returns by package. Both services incur a fee.

Can I have my items sent to a different address?

Yes, your items can be sent to a different address. When placing your order, click on "deliver to a different address". You can also change the billing address. We deliver throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Deliveries cannot be made to other countries. Please contact an IKEA store in the country of your choice at www.ikea.com.

Part of my delivery is damaged or missing. What do I do?

If your item is damaged or if something is missing, please contact our Customer Support Centre. Please have your order number to hand and take photographs of the damage if possible. You can contact us here:
