Rent a van
Sometimes your purchases are too big or too heavy to transport yourself. With the spacious vans from our service partner Europcar on Demand, you can bring your IKEA furniture home yourself.
Prices and locations
You can easily book a suitable rental van from Europcar at any IKEA store in Switzerland using the allride app.
Prices:
CHF 22.50 per hour
Includes 15 km per hire. Each additional kilometre is charged at CHF 0.35 per kilometre.
CHF 150.00 per day
Includes 15 km per hire. Each additional kilometre is charged at CHF 0.35 per kilometre.
These prices include an insurance excess of CHF 2,500. You can pay an additional fee to reduce the excess to CHF 1,500.
How to book:
1. Download the app and register
Download the ‘allride app’ and register. You will find all IKEA locations with Europcar vehicles in the allride app.
To download2. Reserve a van
Select your IKEA location in the allride app and reserve your van for the desired time period.
3. Use the van
Start the booking via the allride app and use the rental vehicle for your transport.
4. Return the van and pay
Please return the van on time to the same IKEA location and put the key back in the terminal in the glove compartment. Payment is made automatically via the allride app.
Good to know
- Important: Delays are charged CHF 1.50 per minute - Therefore plan enough time. However, if you are delayed, extend your booking directly in the app or call Europcar before your booking is completed.
- Please note that the loss of keys, accidents etc. may incur additional costs. Fee list
- For foreign drivers' licences of persons residing in Switzerland you must also upload your residence permit to the allride app.
