Conditions of participation

  1. The organiser of the IKEA Family competition (“Competition”) is IKEA AG, Müslistrasse 16, 8957 Spreitenbach, Switzerland (“IKEA”).

  2. The competition is open to all IKEA Family members in Switzerland aged 16 or over. Presenting/registering your IKEA Family membership number at the checkout of an IKEA store or when shopping online at IKEA.ch automatically enters you into the competition. Alternatively, the IKEA Family membership card can also be registered for free participation in the prize draw at IKEA.ch/competition. 

  3. The competition will take place from May 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025. 200 IKEA vouchers worth CHF 25 each will be raffled off each month.

  4. A maximum of one prize is permitted per IKEA Family member/household within three months.

  5. To take part in the prize draw, you need to register a valid e-mail address in your IKEA Family member profile and agree to receive information regarding offers, news, vouchers and gifts by e-mail, post or SMS. You can update your member profile at IKEA.ch/profile.
    You can of course choose to withdraw your consent or edit your specific communication settings and personal information at any time in your IKEA profile.

  6. The winners will be selected behind closed doors and notified by e-mail in the month following the draw. 

  7. The prize – a digital IKEA voucher worth CHF 25.00 – is valid within IKEA Switzerland and can be redeemed in an IKEA store or at IKEA.ch within the period indicated on the digital IKEA voucher. If the prize is not redeemed within this period, it will be irrevocably forfeited without replacement.

  8. Prizes are not transferable. No cash alternative. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. All information is supplied without guarantee. The conditions of participation may be amended without prior notice.

  9. By accepting the digital IKEA voucher, the winner declares that they agree with the conditions of participation. The conditions of participation published at IKEA.ch shall apply. The prize shall be forfeited if the winner does not accept the conditions of participation.

  10. Swiss law applies; the place of jurisdiction is Spreitenbach AG. The judges’ decision is final.

Lottery - privacy clauses  

1.1 IKEA AG (hereinafter referred to as "IKEA") collects, processes, and uses the personal data provided by the participant (hereinafter referred to as "data") in relation to your participation in the lottery.  

1.2 Information We Collect: 

  • Personal Information: When you register for our lottery, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, contact number, and any other information you provide voluntarily. 
  • Transaction Information: We collect information about your lottery entries, including the vouchers you have won. 

 

1.3 We use the information we collect to operate the lottery, manage your profile, and communicate with you about your participation. Your personal information may be used to notify you if you win a voucher. We may use aggregated and anonymized data for statistical analysis and improving our services. 

1.4 We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our lottery and providing services to you. 

Your information may be shared with legal authorities or other third parties when required by law or to protect our rights and interests. 

1.5 The Participant may (i) request information from IKEA as to whether and which data IKEA has stored and receive copies of this data, (ii) request the correction, supplementation or deletion of his/her data that is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law, (iii) request IKEA to restrict the processing of his/her data, (iv) under certain circumstances object to the processing of his/her data, (v) request data that he/she has given to IKEA in a transferable format and (vi) lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
