How can I return a product at IKEA?

If you're not completely happy or simply changed your mind, IKEA products can be returned in any store in Switzerland as well as per parcel or truck.

You can return or exchange products bought in Switzerland as long as they still are in our range and you still have their proof of purchase or registered your IKEA Family card with the purchase.
You can find here your purchase history.
We can also search for your receipt if you still know the date of purchase, the store you went to, the exact amount of the full transaction and the last 4 digits of the card you used for the payment.
There are 3 return possibilities depending on your products' weight and size.
Return costs will be deducted to reimbursement:

1. Return in store – Register an express return to skip the queue and visit your nearest IKEA store.
2. Parcel Return – Register your parcel return online and hand in your return at your nearest post office or at any official Swiss Post collection point.
3. Truck Return – Book a pick-up by truck for larger products you want to return.
Please note, that products needs to be disassembled for a truck return.

Returning products in an external pick-up point is not possible at the moment.
Returning products in a Plan and Order point is only possible for small products that you purchased there.
