What can I do if something is missing from my delivery?

If something is missing after delivery, make sure to first check if your order has been split into multiple deliveries, as the missing item might still be on its way. If you find that items are still missing from your order, please contact IKEA Customer Service either online or in-store.

If you are missing one or more items or boxes from your order after truck delivery, parcel delivery, IKEA Click & Collect, or pick-up point, check the following first:
  • Was the item included in your order? Review your confirmation email or receipt.
  • Multiple items may be packed together. Be sure to look through all boxes in case your missing item is there.
  • An order may be split into multiple deliveries. You can check this on Track & manage my order by using your order number or logging into your IKEA account. If your order has been split into multiple deliveries, the next delivery date is on the page as well.

If you have checked everything and still need help, the following solutions are available:

Get the missing item(s)

    • At the store
      • A co-worker can give you the replacement item to take home if there is available stock.
    • Through a Click & Collect order
      • A co-worker in the chat can book an order for you to pick up at a store of your choice, as long as it’s in stock.

Arrange home delivery

If the item is not in stock in store, or you cannot take it home yourself, a co-worker can arrange a home delivery of the missing item when the product is available for delivery.

Get a refund

You can opt to get a refund for the missing item. You will receive the refund to the original payment method used to purchase the product. If you purchased the items by paying cash in-store, then you can opt to receive the refund via bank transfer or as an IKEA digital refund card.

These solutions are available for you
    • Online. Type in the chat "I want to speak to a co-worker" or contact us by phone and have receipt or order number at hand.
    • At an IKEA store (except Plan and Order Points). Visit the customer service desk with your receipt or order number.
