What are the IKEA voucher, discount codes and activity cards, and how do they work?
A voucher or discount code cannot be purchased and is provided by IKEA during campaigns or activities. Usage and validity of a voucher or discount code is described in the terms and conditions for this specific campaign or activity (f.i. birthday). Depending on the card you received, if you want to use it online, it will have to be processed whether at the beginning of the order (in field "Apply voucher/discount code") or at payment (in field "Gift card").
Voucher or discount codes are not to be bought but are handed over based on a specific event or activity. They all have different terms and conditions that are written on them. You can usually redeem them on the website in the field "Apply voucher/discount code" or during payment process at the end in the field "Gift card".
The validity of a voucher or of a discount varies depending on the activity. Please have a look at the information you find on your voucher.
A remaining amount on your voucher or discount can never be given in cash. Depending on the activity you received your voucher or discount from, check if a remaining amount is lost or can still be used later - and for which period of time.
Verify first if your card is a voucher, a discount code or an activity gift card - and where you should enter it online (at the beginning or during the payment process).
If you experience any issue with your activity card, voucher or discount, please contact the Customer service of the unit you received it from.
