We strongly encourage customers to take advantage of our 365-day return policy and bring their products back at a later date.

Restaurant temporarily closed

As the situation with COVID-19 evolves daily in Canada, our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and the communities we serve. In accordance with the Province of Alberta’s new regulations, IKEA will temporarily close its restaurants for dine-in service. The Restaurant, Bistro and Swedish Food Market will remain open for takeout only.

Safe ways to shop

IKEA continues to offer Contactless Curbside Click & Collect and online shopping with home delivery at IKEA.ca.

Health and safety is our shared responsibility and we are continuing to take this opportunity to educate our customers on safe ways to shop with IKEA.

Masks are mandatory inside all IKEA stores across the country and we recommend shopping groups be limited to 2 people maximum.

We encourage customers during this time to consider shopping online at IKEA.ca for contactless Click & Collect pick-up or home delivery, or to visit us at a later date if their need isn’t immediate. We also ask customers who require planning to either pre-book in-store planning appointments or use our array of remote planning options at IKEA.ca.

Supply situation

Due to the impact of COVID-19, we are currently experiencing supply delays, which may impact product availability in-store and online. We encourage customers to check online to determine product availability prior to their store visit or online purchase.

If you want updates, select to be notified when supply is back. Stock updates are made every 24 hours.

Due to system updates and high demand, there is a chance that an item with low stock may not be available for purchase.

We appreciate your patience while we work with our suppliers to restock your favorite IKEA products.

Latest news: IKEA Edmonton creates first-ever Indigenous showroom set

Lance Cardinal, who created the 40-foot mural at IKEA Edmonton earlier this year has now designed the first every Indigenous showroom set.

Lance Cardinal believes the room will help to share culture in a way that is accessible to many.

"The most important thing we want people to feel or understand when they walk through the space is more about who we are as Indigenous people" Cardinal said.
