IKEA Edmonton

Shopping at IKEA during the pandemic.

A safe and convenient way of shopping is Contactless Curbside Click & Collect and online shopping with home delivery at

With health and safety as our top priority, we have introduced enhanced, preventative health and safety measures across the shopping experience and operations to ensure co-workers and customers feel safe to work and shop.

When reopening our stores across the country in June, we voluntarily chose to operate at a lower capacity than we were required to under public health guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment with enhanced physical distancing measures. At IKEA Edmonton, we are operating at 25 per cent or less capacity, in line with provincial regulations.

This includes:

  • Limiting the customer capacity in the store to Alberta Government regulations & rules.
  • All customers must respect social distancing and ensure they stay 6 ft / 2 m apart from other customers and co-workers at all times while shopping
  • In accordance with City of Edmonton by-laws all customers are required to wear a mask or face covering that enter IKEA Edmonton. Your mask must be worn properly at all times in th store.
  • Limit your shopping group to 2 people

IKEA Canada is committed to providing a safe and respectful place to shop and work, free from harassment. Our co-workers are here to assist you and to make your shopping experience a pleasant one. We will not tolerate any verbal abuse and aggressive or violent behaviours towards our co-workers or customers. Thank you for your respect and patience during this challenging times.

Supply situation

Due to the impact of COVID-19, we are currently experiencing supply delays, which may impact product availability in-store and online. We encourage customers to check online to determine product availability prior to their store visit or online purchase.

To check, when viewing a product page, click on the link provided in the ‘store stock’ section.

If you want updates, select to be notified when supply is back. Stock updates are made every 24 hours.

Due to system updates and high demand, there is a chance that an item with low stock may not be available for purchase.

We appreciate your patience while we work with our suppliers to restock your favorite IKEA products.
