IKEA Calgary
Due to the global impact of COVID-19, we are currently experiencing some supply delays, which may impact product availability in-store and online. We encourage customers to check online to determine product availability prior to their store visit or online purchase. To check, when viewing a product page, click on the link provided in the ‘store stock’ section. If you want updates, select to be notified when supply is back. Stock updates are made every 24 hours. Due to system updates and high demand, there is a chance that an item with low stock may not be available for purchase. We appreciate your patience while we work with our suppliers to restock your favourite IKEA products. For more information, please click here.
The health and safety of our customers and coworkers is our top priority, so in accordance with the Provincial COVID requirements we are:
- requiring mandatory masks for all customers and visitors when entering IKEA Calgary. Proper wearing of masks needs to continue throughout the entire store.
- asking that you limit your your shopping group to 2 people to promote physical distancing.
At IKEA Calgary, we have reduced our capacity to ensure that we are operating at 15 per cent capacity as per the new guidelines.
IKEA Calgary continues to offer contactless Curbside Click & Collect or online shopping with home delivery at IKEA.ca, if you choose to not visit the store.

Click & Collect
You can shop for it in store – but you don’t have to
Contactless Click and collect service is available at select pick-up locations nationwide. Starting at $5, you can place an order online and collect it from your local IKEA store or an external Collection Point.
Here’s how you do it:
Step 1: Choose ‘Click and collect’ at checkout and you will be able to select an IKEA Store or a nearby Collection Point, operated by a third-party partner.
Step 2: Wait until you receive the “Ready for pickup” email before heading to the store.
Step 3: Follow the instructions in the email and proceed to your selected store or collection point. While collection will be contactless, pick-up processes may vary from location to location. Further direction will be communicated upon arrival.
Click & Collect pick-up instructions:
Step 1: Follow the "Click and Collect" signs to the parking lot on the Southeast side of the building and proceed to a parking stall.
Step 2: Follow the instructions in your confirmation email or text the phone number on the parking stall sign with the parking stall number and your order number to confirm you have arrived and are ready for pick up.
Step 3: Wait in your vehicle for your order to be brought out to your parking stall by an IKEA coworker.

Local Community
Supporting Local Housing Charities
Over the past couple of months, IKEA Calgary has been very fortunate to have had the opportunities to partner with Ronald Mcdonald House Charities and Habitat for Humanity. We helped provide furnishings to support families in need of housing, whether on a permanent or temporary basis.
IKEA Canada receives a high volume of requests every week to support various worthwhile projects. At IKEA, having a positive impact on people and the planet is an essential part of our business. Each IKEA store supports local initiatives that align with our charitable giving policy. Please send your donation request to the IKEA Calgary Store for consideration.
People & Planet
Plant Balls
Do you love the taste of IKEA meatballs, but are looking for a sustainable alternative? In March, we are excited to be launching the IKEA Plant Ball! It does not replace the Veggie Ball as it offers different ingredients ( yellow pea protein, oats, potatoes, onion, and apple to name a few), and tastes more like our regular meatball. The Plant Ball only leaves 4% of the climate footprint that a regular meatball does -- a great way to support our environment without sacrificing taste! Please check our local website for launch dates.
IKEA Food
We offer a range of food products inspired by Swedish traditions—perfect for curious taste buds! You’ll find classics like meatballs, and salmon prepared in all sorts of ways. There are drinks and treats too. And, we’ve made everything more sustainable, so it’s simply good food you can trust.
