The health and safety of our customers and coworkers is our top priority, so in accordance with the Provincial COVID requirements set on November 24, 2020, we are:
- requiring mandatory masks for all customers and visitors when entering IKEA Calgary. Proper wearing of masks needs to continue throughout the entire store.
- asking that you limit your your shopping group to 2 people to promote physical distancing.
When reopening our stores across the country in June, we voluntarily chose to operate at a lower capacity than we were required to under public health guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment with enhanced physical distancing measures. At IKEA Calgary, we will now reduce our capacity even further, to ensure that we are operating at 15 per cent capacity as per the new guidelines.
IKEA Calgary continues to offer contactless Curbside Click & Collect or online shopping with home delivery at IKEA.ca, if you choose to not visit the store.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, we are currently experiencing some supply delays, which may impact product availability in-store and online. We encourage customers to check online to determine product availability prior to their store visit or online purchase. To check, when viewing a product page, click on the link provided in the ‘store stock’ section. If you want updates, select to be notified when supply is back. Stock updates are made every 24 hours. Due to system updates and high demand, there is a chance that an item with low stock may not be available for purchase. We appreciate your patience while we work with our suppliers to restock your favourite IKEA products.

Recycle your Christmas tree!
This year, we will again be supporting a City of Calgary Christmas Tree depot. Trees will be accepted from December 26 to January 31, 2021. The lot will be located on the Northwest side of the buliding towards the back. Remove all ornaments, lights, garland, tinsel and tree stands. Do not wrap, tie or bag your tree, even if the bag is labelled as compostable or biodegradable. This is a great initiative to keep trees from the landfills and support the city composting program.
