A firm 20 cm high mattress with individual pocket springs and a layer of foam offers comfort and support. The cover with extra foam and a soft stretch fabric adds even more comfort.

Edge-to-edge pocket springs allow air to circulate for better breathability and there is no loss of comfort if 2 mattresses are placed next to each other.

A layer of foam on the top adds comfort.

Soft quilted stretch cover with added wadding.

Good to know

The mattress may need about 72 hours to fully regain its shape and comfort after having been roll-packed. Any wrinkles will disappear too.

Sometimes the packaging may have given the mattress a noticeable smell which will disappear over a short period of time.

Worst Mattress for Back PainLauraI recently purchased this mattress after having a bad back and moving into a new place, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to upgrade my sleeping arrangements. I visited the Richmond store to test out some mattresses before I bought one, and this one seemed great. I am genuinley shocked at the difference in this product at home and from in-store. I've been second guessing myself these last few days, but I took a photo of the product card once I had decided and I have ordered the correct mattress. It's been three nights of really uncomfortable sleep. I have a really good mattress topper which also hasn't helped. The pain is causing numbness in my arm when I sleep on my side and I'm waking up with an incredibly stiff back. I am really upset at how bad this product is and even moreso how expensive it is going to be to have to arrange a replacement since I don't drive. This is the first time I've been so disappointed in an Ikea product.1

All Round WinnerShonaWe like a firm mattress & add separate mattress toppers. Vesteroy is an excellent price, good quality, fitted perfectly on our existing slat bedframe & the mattress was packed so we could fit it in our hatchback for transport. Our only suggestion is more options for mattress toppers, would love to see more natural fibers - luxe wool or feather/down.5

Cushioning nice, but got a faulty productNakulThe cushioning of this mattress is nice and firm, as experienced in the store. I brought it home and when placed it on the bed after opening the roll, I notice a cut on the front-side cloth-cover of the mattress. Spent a lot of time and money in the transportation and hence not sure what to do now. Wish there was an option of replacement but hassle-free.3

Great upgrade for an existing single bedPerryAfter 1 and a half years of active use, the mattress is still a joy to sleep on. With its pocket-sprung coil design and adequate balance of firmness and comfort, it's definitely a leg up compared to the Bonnell spring mattress I had been using previously.
