Why is there water in my new IKEA dishwasher?
Don't worry, this is normal! Our dishwashers are tested at the factory for leakage and function, so a small amount of water remains in the dishwasher when it is packed for transport.

Alternate. The energy-saving program (ECO mode) of your appliance uses less hot water than the regular program. Your dishwasher needs a hot program on a regular basis for it to function properly to avoid clogs or scale as much as possible.
