Can I always use an IKEA dishwasher on the ECO program?
Alternate. The energy-saving program (ECO mode) of your appliance uses less hot water than the regular program. Your dishwasher needs a hot program on a regular basis for it to function properly to avoid clogs or scale as much as possible.
To prevent the pipes from becoming clogged with grease residue, we recommend that you run a hot (cleaning) program regularly.
Some dishwashers from IKEA have a cleaning program that allows you to rinse the dishwasher with hot water. Check your dishwasher's included user manual for more information on the functions.
