Make memorable meals

Preparing dinner is a delight with our newest cookware family. VARDAGEN consists of traditional-looking casseroles and frying pans made of uncoated cast iron. Their deep colour brings a rustic feel to the kitchen and dining areas. They’re just perfect to use for long and slow cooking, as the cookware will radiate heat consistently from all directions.

An everyday classic

Designer Mikael Axelsson shares his thoughts on designing a timeless casserole and helping create an enjoyable cooking experience: “My idea with VARDAGEN was to make a classic cast iron pot that people can use year after year, and even pass on to the next generation. To give it the right retro style, I was inspired by 1950’s design. These types of pots are quite heavy, so I spent a lot of time on the handle design and placement to make them ergonomic. Another finesse is that you can hang the lid on the pot while cooking. This old-style pot will hopefully add to the enjoyment of many memorable meals!”
