What should I do if my product has been recalled due to a quality issue?

If one of your IKEA products has been recalled by IKEA due to a quality issue, stop using it immediately. Visit your nearest IKEA store or contact IKEA Customer Service to return it for a full refund or replacement product.

All IKEA products are carefully designed and tested to ensure the safety of our customers and compliance with applicable regulations and legislation. Despite these tests, certain products are rarely required to be recalled due to a previously undetected safety issue.
If you are an IKEA Family member, you will be contacted by email if a recall has been issued for a product you have purchased using your IKEA Family card. You can also check Product recalls the affected items and the reason why they have been removed.
