How to make a return at IKEA
Returns are easy at IKEA. You have 365 days to exchange or return items you have bought, whether they are opened, unopened or even assembled. You can return your product to any IKEA store, even if you bought it at a different IKEA store or online on the IKEA website. Remember to bring your receipt with you.
Head to the customer service desk if you’d like to exchange a product in one of our stores. You’ll need your receipt to do this.
Can’t get to an IKEA store? You can also return smaller IKEA products at a post office. Terms and conditions:
• All products being returned must be part of the same order or on the same receipt.
• The total weight of the parcel must not exceed 30 kg.
• The total size of the parcel’s length, width and height must not exceed 210 cm, with the longest side measuring no more than 120 cm.
• The cost of the service is EUR 1.
Returns via collection
Contact us if your order was delivered to you and you’d like to arrange a collection. We’ll tell you what to do next and we’ll send a courier to the address provided to manage the return to the store.*
The cost of collection is:
• EUR 3 if you received your shipment by parcel (except for mattresses already unpacked).
• EUR 39 for all other collections.
* Applicable only to orders originally delivered to your home and orders placed in mainland Spain.
Cancelling an IKEA order
For orders that have not yet been dispatched, you can cancel through the Track my order page. If you are unable to cancel, please contact our customer service team.
Right to cancel orders placed online or by phone: remember that you have 14 days from receipt of your order to cancel it for any products bought online or by phone. You will be fully refunded for the cost of the items and the delivery charges. Find out more in the online ordering terms and conditions.
