What is IKEA's return policy for mattresses?

At IKEA, you have 365 days to love or exchange your mattress.

What should I bear in mind?
  • It is normal for a new mattress to feel firmer at first. Your body needs at least 7 days to adjust to the mattress, and the mattress also adapts to you.
  • For greater comfort, make sure you have a suitable pillow that suits you and your new mattress.
You can exchange your mattress or mattress topper within 7 days of the date of purchase, or from the date you received the goods in the case of delivery (Click & Collect or home delivery). 
  • You will receive a refund card for the value of the return. 
  • The product must be in good condition, with no signs of poor hygiene or damage. 
  • Please remember to present your receipt or proof of purchase. 
After the 7-day period, mattresses may only be returned in their original condition or packaging.
You can return a mattress: 
  • Take your mattress to any of our IKEA stores on the peninsula that are eligible for returns. Before you go, use our store finder to check on the store’s local page that the location you have in mind accepts returns. You can find information about your nearest store here. 
  • With home collection: if you arranged for delivery with your order within mainland Spain, you can request collection by contacting us or in store. We will tell you what to do and arrange collection from the address of your choice.

Can I return a mattress after one year if it has quality issues? 
If your mattress shows quality issues after one year, the return policy does not apply, instead, the product warranty applies.
