IKEA Coquitlam will require all customers and visitors that enter our store to wear a mask or face covering. To ensure physical distancing, we recommend that you limit your shopping group to 2 people maximum.
When reopening our stores across the country in June, we voluntarily chose to operate at a lower capacity than we were required to under public health guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment with enhanced physical distancing measures. At IKEA Coquitlam, we are operating at 25 per cent or less capacity.
With health and safety as our top priority, we have introduced enhanced, preventative health and safety measures across the shopping experience and operations to ensure co-workers and customers feel safe to work and shop.
As a result, the IKEA Restaurant is open with limited seating space, and the children’s play area Småland will remain closed. The IKEA Bistro and FIKA café are open.
IKEA continues to offer contactless Curbside Click & Collect and online shopping with home delivery at IKEA.ca.
Important Update on Stock Availability - Due to the impact of COVID-19, we are currently experiencing some supply delays, which may impact product availability in-store and online. We encourage customers to check online to determine product availability prior to their store visit or online purchase.
To check, when viewing a product page, click on the link provided in the ‘store stock’ section. If you want updates, select to be notified when supply is back. Stock updates are made every 24 hours.
Due to system updates and high demand, there is a chance that an item with low stock may not be available for purchase. We appreciate your patience while we work with our suppliers to restock your favourite IKEA products.

People and Planet
On October 28th, IKEA Richmond and IKEA Coquitlam, teamed up to plant 650 Indigenous Trees in the City of Coquitlam's Hoy Creek Linear Park.
Hoy Creek is home to a salmon hatchery and enhancement program that is integral to the surrounding habitat. From Douglas Fir, to Salmonberries, our small but mighty team took on the task to restore the greenery in one of our city's most precious natural spaces.
Thank you to Tree Canada for having us, and for continuing to advocate for green spaces and tree health across Canada!
