Due to the impacts of COVID-19 on the global supply chain, we are currently experiencing limited availability and significant delays for certain products in-store and online. We are doing everything possible to make as many of our products available to you as soon as possible. We recommend you check your desired product’s availability on our website before your visit. Returns and exchanges

  • To access the Returns and Exchanges department, please proceed to the upper deck parking lot upon arrival.
  • Kindly be mindful of social distancing and stay on the yellow marked dots when lining up.
  • Please limit your shopping party to 1 individual per return to help maintain a safe environment for all. Learn more about our 365-day return policy.
  • Get a head start on your return and save time at the Returns desk by using our new online form.

You have 365 days to return or exchange your product. To avoid long wait times, IKEA encourages customers to take advantage of its 365-day return policy and return or exchange products at a later time.

Missing Parts:
Due to restrictions with COVID-19, we are not able to give out missing or spare parts at this time. However, you can request it through our online customer service here and receive it in the mail within 5-10 business days.

Parking lot entry routes

Enter the store from Woolridge St or Lougheed Highway. Oversized vehicles, please enter via Lougheed Highway to park in the uncovered perimeter parking lot.

  • IKEA Coquitlam has added an External Furniture Pick-up Warehouse to provide you with an improved shopping experience and greater product availability.

    Please note that all kitchens and other select furniture will need to be picked up at the external warehouse after making the purchase from the store. The warehouse is located within a short drive from the store.

Click & Collect

You can shop for it in store – but you don’t have to

Contactless Click and collect service is available at select pick-up locations nationwide. Starting at $5, you can place an order online and collect it from your local IKEA store or an external Collection Point.

Here’s how you do it:

Step 1: Choose ‘Click and collect’ at checkout and you will be able to select an IKEA Store or a nearby Collection Point, operated by a third-party partner.

Step 2: Wait until you receive the “Ready for pickup” email before heading to the store.

Step 3: Follow the instructions in the email and proceed to your selected store or collection point. While collection will be contactless, pick-up processes may vary from location to location. Further direction will be communicated upon arrival.

Step 1: Please proceed to the upper deck parking lot upon arrival (see directional map below)

Step 2:

a) To pick up your order in store, please enter through the Click and Collect doors on the upper deck parking lot.

b) For curbside service, please park in one of the designated parking spots at the end of the lot and check in by following the link in the confirmation email. If you cannot access it, please follow the instructions on the parking signs.

Convenient Delivery

Can’t take your furniture with you? We’ll deliver it to your home or workplace. Truck delivery starting at $39.

Parcel delivery: Delivery left at your front door. Ideal for smaller home decoration & accessory orders.

Doorstep delivery: Delivery left at your front door. Ideal for smaller furniture orders that you can easily bring into your household yourself.

In-home delivery: Delivery into the entryway of your household. Ideal for larger furniture deliveries that cannot be left at your doorstep.

In-home delivery features
- Choose the day and time of your delivery, that best suits you.
- Choose between a 2 or 4-hour delivery window.
- Orders are delivered into the entryway (first threshold) of your household.
- If you live in an apartment or condo and need to reserve an elevator, please be sure that you can book the elevator for the entire duration of your delivery window.

TaskRabbit

TaskRabbit is an on-demand service available on the web that conveniently connects you with the network of Taskers. Handling everything from in-home furniture assembly and mounting to basic handyman services.

Get advice from our experts to plan your dream kitchen or transform a room, all from the comfort of your home or at your preferred IKEA store.

Save time with your in-store return

Get a head start on your return and save time in store. Using this online form, add the products for return and the information requested. Once complete, you will receive a barcode via SMS and e-mail* that you will show the co-worker at the Returns desk when you arrive in store to assist with a quick return process.

  • Register a maximum of 10 items
  • Bring proof of purchase

*Barcode for return is valid for 14 days.

Recycling

We offer an in-store recycling service for Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL) & Battery recycling. Due to COVID-19, we are suspending our mattress removal and recycling services until further notice.

Replacement Parts

Are you missing bolts, pegs, or other furniture parts to assemble IKEA prodcuts? Request replacement parts online. They're free and will be delivered to you.


Local Community

Latest News: IKEA Coquitlam donates over 1500 home kits to local organizations.

At IKEA, we believe in creating a better every day life for the many people, and that is even more important now during these unpredented times. IKEA Coquitlam co-workers have continued to support and give back to the local communtiy, creating 1500 home kits for immigrants and newcomers to Canada. From kitchen kits, bath kits, and kids kits, we turned the store into a sea of blue FRAKTA bags for the community. We were also able to donate over 1000 duvets and pillows to the Salvation Army to distribute within their networks. We thank our partners for continuing to show up and supporting our most vulnerable communities.

IKEA Canada receives a high volume of requests every week to support various worthwhile projects. At IKEA, having a positive impact on people and the planet is an essential part of our business. Big Brothers' Closet Clean-out

On June 5th, IKEA Coquitlam and Richmond hosted a contact-less clothing donation drive alongside our long-standing partners, Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.

Donating gently used clothing not only supports Big Brothers and their youth programs but is a sustainable alternative to give your items a second life.

Thank you to our amazing community for coming out for Big Brothers, and contributing to a more circular and sustainable world.
