At IKEA, we believe the kitchen is the heart of the home. Unfortunately, it tends to be a wasteful place—but it doesn’t have to be.
That’s why we’ve created the IKEA ScrapsBook—a cookbook dedicated to cooking with the little things we usually throw away.

IKEA Richmond has donated over $200,000 in home furnishings and accessories this year to those most vulnerable in our community.
We want to help ensure those who are most vulnerable in our community have a safe and comfortable home during these challenging times. Over $180,000 in home furnishing kits have been donated to BC Women's Health Foundation, BC Society of Transition Houses and Progressive Intercultural Community Services in support of vulnerable children, families, seniors, refugees and newcomers in our community. Kits included bedding textiles and duvets, to kitchen and bath items, and even soft toys. An additional almost $20,000 has been dontated to Richmond Hospital and Richmond Mental Health in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Plus, almost $4,000 in toys and furnishing accessories to Mamas for Mamas in support of children's right to play.
IKEA Canada receives a high volume of requests every week to support various worthwhile projects. At IKEA, having a positive impact on people and the planet is an essential part of our business. Each IKEA store supports local initiatives that align with our charitable giving policy. Please send your donation request to the IKEA Richmond store for consideration.
