This shelf is my whole personality nowRobynI fell in love with this shelf as soon as I realized that it was not actually just a black shelf. The colour is *chef's kiss*! It stands out whilst still being subtle. It's a very sturdy shelf and feels very high quality. I added contact paper to the underside of my shelves for a little je ne sais quoi that you can see when sitting on our couch :) I am fully obsessed and my only wish is that it were about 3-4 inches wider because I have so many trinkets and books that I need to fit.5

Very nice bookcaseDianaTook me a little while to get this together, but…. I’m a 65 year old female on the smaller side (under 5’). Put it together alone, instructions were pretty easy to follow. I purchased this unit as my home has very small rooms, and I needed something to use for DVD and book storage. (Just make sure you anchor it to the wall; it’s very tall.) This case is perfect. Colour is nice, sides and shelves feel quite sturdy, even the backing is sturdier than many bookcases I’ve bought in the past. For the price, it’s well worth the investment.4

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
