Great mattressNataliThis mattress was the only option for my sons junior bed but it is actually really great. It is firm enough that he has proper support but not too much that its uncomfortable. I did have to air it out for a couple days but the smell wasn't too bad.5

HORRIBLE SMELL!!AnonymousBought this mattress a week ago, even after reading the poor reviews, as there isn't any other mattress option for the junior bed. Also bought 2 fitted sheets to go with it. As other reviewers have said, the odour is extremely strong and terribly chemical smelling. I left the mattress out in high winds and full sun for a week, it still smelt. Poured bi-carb soda all over it for 2 hours, vacuumed it off, still stank. So much so that we had headaches from it. Rang customer service, I have to take the mattress back BUT it has to be assessed to be faulty! It is not just a straight refund because it is a 'used' mattress (even though my son never slept on it). 'We can exchange it for another mattress' customer service says but I explained there is no other mattress that fits, rendering the junior bed base and fitted sheets useless too. Customer service says 'oh well I can't help you then, you have to return to store'. Ridiculous policy, can't believe we have to drive 2 hours back to a store from where we live and fight for a refund for not only the mattress but the bed base and fitted sheets! Do not waste your time like we have!!! :( :( :(1

On Sunday we walked into his room and could not believe the terrible smell coming from the mattress. Like a paraffin smell. We took it straight outside to air it but the smell it is still there because the smell is as strong as ever. I think we'll be returning this mattress. Very disappointed!1
