Great starter/staple lampEllaThis lamp is a great price for anyone decorating ANY room. I have one in my bedroom, and one in my living room. The bulbs are cheap, you can choose bright light or warm lighting and they are cheap and work anywhere. Great use until I save up and splurge on something. But even the one in my room I wouldn’t get rid of. Even better I got 2 of them from the AS IS section with nothing wrong just half price. Wasn’t even a question to buy them or not. I would happily buy it new in the box.5

Great, and can take Philips Hue P45 E14 Luster bulbs (the short ones) AdamGreat little lamp. It's small ... very small, but looks good.
Since people in the reviews were having trouble with globes that can fit: I'm using the Philips Hue P45 E14 Luster bulbs - they do fit. Those globes are listed as 45mm wide/diameter - it went through without touching the edges, though it is a very slim fit, perhaps 1 or 2mm room max.
The E14 Candle bulb (the taller slim version of the E14) is too long / will not fit height-wise.5
Almost great MaxI like the design and it's small enough to put nearly anywhere. As others have mentioned, the opening for the bulb is too small for most bulbs which is a bit frustrating. I was able to get around this by removing the inner plastic ring and putting it back once the bulb was already in. Not ideal as this is clearly not how the product was designed to be used 4

no e14 bulb actually fitsErincould deal with the fact that the lamp doesn’t come with a light bulb, but unfortunately, you can’t assemble it without a light-bulb as none will fit! bought an E14 bulb from ikea & we could screw it, but not put it into the mushroom shape. bought one off kmart, same thing. bought a flame off amazon, also doesn’t fit. just really inconvenient. 1

Bulb size is an issueJonathanI like the shape and quality of this lamp, but the bulb situation is really frustrating. It's smaller than expected – not a huge issue in terms of looks but a massive pain finding the right bulb. Not only does the opening not fit many larger E14 bulb diameters, even the number of bulbs IKEA sells that are compatible is very small.
IKEA's description of this product suggests: E14, clear. IKEA only seems to a couple bulbs that would actually fit the product, and none the brightness/temperature I want. I mistakenly bought one too large today (in store), no measurements on any bulb products for the height of the bulb. A "compatible bulbs" section wouldn't go amiss, especially since they're trying to upsell you every thing else.2
Wonderful!MayBought this for a small room light for a comfortable wind down in the evening and it is really cute and such a small thing can have great lighting!! Also small enough to not take up plenty of space. Must buy5
