Love this rug!DianaI actually originally purchased this because it was on special for "IKEA Family" members, so great price! But, I have ended up loving it and it fits perfectly in my front hall. Make sure you get a size-matched STOPP FILT (unless you're putting this on a non-slip surface), because I originally forgot to grab one & nearly broke something when it went sliding after I stepped on it. It is great because it hides dirt well & I am able to easily just chuck it into my washing machine when it is starting to look dingy at all. 5

Not GoodJacquelineNot happy with this mat. Has folds in it that don’t come out. I washed it per instructions and it was a wrinkled mess. I had to steam it to get the wrinkle out. Still had creases, doesn’t sit on the floor flat, I had to purchase non-slip underlay to stop it slipping around. Every day I have to straighten it up and after weeks the mat is still creased. I purchased five for the hallway and bedrooms. Annoying waste of money.1

It washes beautifully too. Just needs some iron after while still damp. Perfect on engineered wood kitchen floor to protect it. I bought 2 of them and will buy more.

Material

What is cotton?

Cotton is a practical and hardwearing natural material. It comes from the seed capsule of the cotton plant, which forms small wads when it blooms. Cotton rugs are easy to care for, because you can wash them in an ordinary washing machine and they can stand high temperatures. Cotton is heavy when wet, so it's important to check that your machine has enough weight capacity. It's also good to know that cotton may shrink, so you may have to stretch the rug a bit after you've washed it.
