I just moved into a new rental with very limited lighting so bought 2 more (wish it was still old shape). They work well; I’ve always thought the cords are a bit messy and I’m sure could be improved but not willing to spend double that he price on the alternative design available (and prefer the switches being lower on these).
Globes last forever and I always have great low power bills despite using them a lot. Work well to put on a timer too. Love the double head for different needs.
Effective Lights but..RichardThe lights are good looking and effective. Very good price. But the illustrations are misleading - the lamp has two separate cables, switches AND PLUGS!!! The illustration only shows one. I should have looked more closely at the display unit - I nearly brought them back as I have a shortage of power points but I've used a double adapter in a double adapter- only low wattage. Ikea should say in ' Good to Know' that it has two cables [messy] and needs two power points. Ikea should also change the picture in the online catalogue
Floor lampCaroleI just love the feature where you can have 1 or 2 lamps on. I use the top lamp if I just want extra light in the room and the bottom light is adjustable so I can use it for craft work or reading.
