The shape of the armchair provides nice support for the lumbar region.

Velvet is a soft, luxurious fabric that is resistant to abrasion and easy to clean using the soft brush attachment on your vacuum.

Djuparp cover is made of velvet which, through a traditional weaving technique, gives the fabric a warm, deep colour and a soft surface with a dense pile and light, reflective shine.

The velvet is woven from viscose and polyester, which makes it durable.

The velvet reflects light in a characteristic way which may make the colour appear as if it changes.

Press marks that may appear on the velvet usually disappear after some time. With your hand, you can gently stroke in the direction of the pile or use a clothes brush. You can also use the vacuum cleaner with the soft nozzle.

Small fibres may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a garment roll.

To make sure that velvet maintains its look and feel, it needs to be cared for regularly according to the care instructions included with the product.

Information

Clean by vacuuming or use a lint roller.

Wet marks should always be dried off as soon as possible to stop moisture penetration.

Light stains can be removed with textile cleaner or a sponge damped in water or a mild soapy solution.

Safety and compliance

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

Moulds to your bodySophiaI was a little unsure about how this fabric would go, I really preferred the djuparp but it didn’t go with my decor - fear not it is really beautifully soft and easy to get pasta sauce off 😅 installation took me 30 min and I did it solo. Moulds to your body and I am not someone who sits in chairs conventionally, but this chair - I do. Works really nicely with a footstool/ ottoman. I have it adjacent to the beige strandmon armchair and it looks 10/10 with a white gladom table and arstid lamp between the two and I could not love it more. Nice set up and unobtrusive size for a studio apartment too. I did fold and buy the djuparp blue and it sits nicely as a desk chair- would recommend if you’re someone who requires lumbar support; balances upper spine and curves to fit your lower at a good angle. Yes. Yes. Yes.5

We bought this chair to take up some space in our master bedroom, but we ended up sitting on it all the time and reading a book because it is so comfortable. Installation was easy and assembly was easy. Instructions were very clear.

This is an interesting chair, the back alone is not comfy but it's perfect with the KRANSBORRE round pillow. It is a very strong and well built chair and easy to put together.
