Handle included.

Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Same product, completely different colourJanineI already have a 3 unit Besta display cabinet with the white/clear glassvik glass doors. After moving house and having a bigger wall area , I wanted to add 2 further units to make the cabinet longer. The glass vikings doors and glass shelves I picked up look a completely different colour, though still caller white/clear so looked out of place. I had to change my plans.2

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
