The door can be hung with the opening to the right or the left.

Hinges with integrated dampers catch the door and close it slowly, silently and softly.

This door is covered in a high-gloss foil on the front, that's wrapped around the curved edges. A matte foil in the same color covers the backside.

Colour changeDorotaIt looks great now but I worry that the colour might change it bought other cabinets from IKEA with the same finish: white gloss, and after few years there is a discolouration , some of the door cabinets went yellow, others stayed same ( white); maybe it depends on the batch? I asked IKEA for a replacement to no available unfortunately. Great pity It is difficult for me to talk about the quality of the product now, after I have just bought it. I see that it might change after few years.. if it doesn’t change the colour it’s fantastic, I would be very happy, I couldn’t ask for more but if it does change the colour again I’m greatly disappointed.3

Fardal wardrobeJosephWardrobe is good except for the following points. - putting in boxes into the wardrobe easily scratches the leading edge of the shelving. I wish that this edge which will see a lot of traffic was either more durable or has some sort of plastic edge you can buy to protect it. - would like to see some sort of centre support brace that I could use to support each shelf for the double with wardrobe. I prefer the double width as it gives more flexibility into how I use the space but also concerned about the weight distribution3

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
