This durable cover is made from Karlshov, a yarn-dyed 100% cotton fabric with classic stripes. Natural materials make the fabric feel pleasant to the touch. The cover can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Best Sofa EVERLindaFinally bought one few years after admiring a friends Ektorp sofa- best decision ever! We'd been through several lounge suites raising 4 kids- difficult and costly to have cleaned and hated being 'fussy' about it- these covers remove in five minutes, wash in machine on gentle and line dry quickly- I don't even bother ironing them...no problem with grandkids coming over- bought a second one when the red floral cover was available- LOVE that I can redecorate with brand new covers at reasonable cost anytime, as the two sofas are still in great shape...oh yeah, and they pass the 'but is it ok to sleep on?' test !!! (my very tall grown daughter removes the back cushions and prefers this to the spare beds!)
Ektorp 3 seater lounge cover setDonaldThis cover is the best and most comfortable feel fabric i have ever had for my 3 seater lounge since I bought the lounge 10 plus years ago. Just wish I was able to buy new inner covers because the old feather filled ones had to be thrown out because they started tear open and was losing all the feathers.
Ektorp Kilandra Dk BlueJuliaI have no idea the history of these covers but this one, bought with my sofa in 2025, is probably the best tempered I have ever owned. It washes fabulously, doesn't need ironing (of course) it's not pilled yet (washed x2) and works perfectly with young children and old cats. If I had any complaint it would be that you need more colours, dark ones please, in this very material! Oh, and don't tell anyone because im not sure if you should, but I stuck it in the dryer too. Not a single problem.

Sofa coverSarahThis a lovely sofa cover, it’s a soft sage green, velvet like fabric. These new covers have been cut a bit bigger so it is easier to get them on and off. Makes the sofa look brand new.
Poor qualityKarenWe had owned an Ektorp lounge previously and it had a great quality cotton cover, the new covers are very thin, feel cheap and attract dirt and dust. Very disappointing.

Back cushion is too softMeng HooiI bought the Ektorp 3-seater sofa after reading the reviews. The sofa was delivered incredibly fast and it took me less than an hour to assemble it. I like the firmness of the seat cushions but not the back cushions which were very soft and offered very little support. After searching online, I found a company that could supply high-density foam in the sizes I needed. After inserting the HDF into the back cushions, the sofa feels so comfortable now. It makes me wonder why Ikea didn’t do this?
But overall, for the price I have paid, I am quite happy with the sofa.
Soft and velvety, much nicer than expected after reading the reviews.DebbieI've been wanting to.upgrade my sofa.for a while, but finances and having young cats, I can't seem to find the sofa id like right now. So, i thought I'd just get a new cover, reading some of the previous reviews I was weary but I am so happy. The fabric feels soft and yes very different from the originals. A bonus for me is my young cats don't want to sharpen their paws on it.
