Product details
Seat cushions filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibre wadding give comfortable support for your body, and easily regain their shape when you get up.
The reversible back cushion of polyester fibre gives soft support for your back and two sides to wear.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.
The Kilanda fabric with a melange effect is made of at least 90 percent recycled polyester and has a soft surface.

The cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

Nice chair but lacks head/neck support VickyThe chair is definitely comfortable and nice to look at. However as the back of the chair is low it lacks proper head/neck support. We tend to slouch in the chairs and lean our heads back so that we don’t end up with neck pain. This applies to the whole range, single, 2 seater and 3 seater. Otherwise good value for money.
Colour misrepresentation. KurtVery disappointed in the Ektorp. While the quality is acceptable for the price the colour depicted in the online photo’s is extremely misleading. The ‘Kilanda light beige’ is GREY, ikea possibly using old photos of a previous beige material used? Surely I’m not the only one who sees a ‘warmer yellow’ undertone beige in the photos?
While we did attend the showroom to put in the effort to ensure we see it in person before buying - nil on the floor and colour patches seemed to have been taken.

Definitely smaller AnonymousI've measured this chair against the ektorp I purchased in 2015 and the seat is 4cm shorter and 4cm narrower... It used to feel like sitting in a spacious cloud but now it just feels average. The 2 seater is much better if you have the room.
