Seat is not flatChrisThe stool is easy to assemble but we did need power tools to tighten. It was a bit disappointing to see the top has a reasonable indent along the sitting edge. I wanted as a studio stool for drawing and it was nice to have the height adjustment. It feels sturdy but I will put some protection on the leg ends to save my vinyl flooring.3

Not a good stool, but....JohnAs a stool, this is pretty average. Max weight is a low 100kg, the seat isn't very comfortable and the paint looks like it will probably chip quite easily if knocked about. BUT they make great stylish speaker stands for a fraction of the price of purpose built stands. Height adjustable, ability to swivel - perfect! Just don't sit on them :)5

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
