Do I need a receipt for a return?

To process your return, we need proof of purchase, such as the receipt or order confirmation. We can also find your purchase through your IKEA Family profile. Did you pay by card? Then we can also find the receipt via your bank statement.

To return your product, you need proof of purchase, such as the (photo of) receipt or order confirmation. If you used your IKEA Family account for the purchase, we can also find your purchase there.

No proof of purchase and IKEA account?
We recommend going to an IKEA store or  contacting us  with the purchase details, such as your bank statement, name, address, and contact information. With these details, we can look up your purchase and handle your return.
