What does IKEA do with lost property?
Did you lose something in one of our stores? We'd be happy to help you find it back.
Items that are found are placed on the iLost website. Exceptions to this are valuable items such as wallets, ID cards, and bank cards. These are immediately handed over to security and safely stored in a safe or locked room. Do you think you have lost something valuable? Then it is best to return to the store or first contact our customer service.
Is your item listed on iLost?
Then go through the steps to verify that the item is yours. After that, you can pick it up at the customer service desk in the store where you lost it.
Note: our IKEA location in Leeuwarden does not yet use iLost. Do you think you lost something there? Then go back to the store. One of our colleagues will be happy to assist you.
Forgot something in a locker?
It can happen that you forget something in a locker. Every morning, these are emptied by us. The contents are carefully treated as lost property.
