Why is there a light flashing on my IKEA extractor hood?
This light indicates that it is time to clean or replace the carbon filter in your extractor hood.
Some IKEA extractor hoods have an alarm that becomes active when you install a carbon filter in your hood. The light flashes after every 100 hours of use as a reminder that you need to clean or replace the carbon filter.
Look at your exctractor hood maintenance manual for how to clean or replace the carbon filter and how to reset this alarm.
