Can I use my IKEA hob with a gas bottle?
IKEA hobs are only suitable for use in homes with a standard fixed gas connection.
If you buy a gas hob from IKEA, it is suitable for use with the gas as it comes from your gas pipe in the Netherlands, so-called low-calorific gas.
Therefore, the hobs are not suitable for use on butane/ propane gas or for use with gas bottles. You may not be able to use a hob bought in the Netherlands in other countries where high-calorific gas is supplied.
