5-year guarantee

At IKEA, you receive a standard 5-year guarantee on kitchen appliances. This ensures that they will serve you for a long time to come. This guarantee applies to the whole range with the exception of TILLREDA and LAGAN.

Has something gone wrong with your appliance? We're sorry to hear that your appliance isn't working the way it should and we'd like to find a solution as quickly as possible.


Step 1

For troubleshooting information, refer to the instruction manual for the appliance's in the first instance.
Tip: This manual can be found in the product information on our website. If this does not solve the problem, an experienced service partner will help you out.

Step 2

You will also need proof of purchase to make a guarantee claim.

This will state the article number and date of purchase, which we need in order to handle the service request.

Step 3

To get in contact with the right service partner, it is important that you have the service number of your appliance.

Please note: the service number is not the same as the IKEA article number. Here's how to find the service number.

  • Where can I find the service number?

    The service number is often found on the inside of the device. The following PDF file contains examples of where the number can be found:

    If the service number starts with an 8:

    • For general matters you can call +31 (0)20 721 91 01
    • For spare parts you can call +31 (0)55 538 11 87

    Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00

    If the service number starts with a 9:

    • For general matters and spare parts you can call: +31 (0)172 468 568

    Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00

    No service number?

    • Some extractor hoods do not have a service number, but do have a product number. Look for the manufacturer's number on the nameplate on the inside of the unit (behind the filters).

    Is the manufacturer's number 23199?

    • For general matters you can call: +31(0)20 - 721 91 01
    • For spare parts you can call: +31(0)55 - 538 11 87

    Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00

    No manufacturer's number and the service number does not start with an 8 or 9:

    • Then you can call customer service on +31 (0)900 235 45 32. You will only pay your usual call charges for this phone number.

    Please note:

    • To ensure quick handling, please have this service number or manufacturer's number to hand when you contact our service partner.
    • To avoid incurring dismantling costs for accessing the appliance, make sure that your appliance is easily accessible when a technician visits you.
