How does IKEA work with accessibility?
IKEA aims for both its stores and its digital services to be accessible and welcoming for everyone. You can find information about the accessibility features of each store by visiting its website; there you will find information such as wheelchair loans, parking spaces and lifts. IKEA also works to improve digital accessibility by following global standards such as the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
We want everyone to feel welcome and at home when shopping at IKEA. To help you plan your visit, you can find more information on the website of each store about services such as:
- Wheelchair loans: we offer this service in all our IKEA stores so that customers with reduced mobility can move around our facilities. You can request it at the Customer Service desk, and you only need to have your identity document with you.
- Parking spaces: we have parking spaces for people with reduced mobility next to the entrance of our stores.
- Lifts: available in some of our stores.
By incorporating global standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), we work continuously to improve digital accessibility. You can find more information on the Digital Accessibility Statement page.
