How does Click & Collect work?

To use this service, add your desired items to your cart, and select the 'Click & Collect' option at checkout. Choose your preferred collection point and time slot. You'll receive a confirmation email/SMS with collection details, and once your order is ready, you'll be notified to pick it up. Ensure you have your order confirmation and ID with you. For any issues during collection, follow instructions provided in your notification or reach out to IKEA customer support.

  1.  Place your order (online, in store or with the distance selling team):
a. When shopping online, add the products you want to your shopping basket. If you are shopping in store or with the distance selling team, our specialists will guide you through the process.
b. Add the items to your shopping basket and select the option ‘At IKEA collection points’. You can collect your order from a store, a locker (not available in all stores), a collection point or a post office. If this option does not appear, it may be due to:
  • Lack of stock in the store for Click & Collect.
  • The item is not available for collection and is only offered with home delivery (delivery to your door or inside your home).
c. Choose your preferred IKEA store or collection point and select a time slot for collection. If you live outside Spain and choose Click & Collect, enter the postcode of your nearest store in the corresponding field and continue with the purchase process.
d. Complete your order; identify yourself as a member of IKEA Family or IKEA Business Network to enjoy the discount on the price before completing your purchase.
e. Your preferred Click & Collect location may not appear due to high demand. Please try again in 1 or 2 days, as alternative options may become available.
f. If you change your mind before picking up your order, you can cancel your Click & Collect order via the self-service solution ‘Cancel order’ in Track and manage your order or contact IKEA Customer Service if you need assistance.
2. Processing and shipping:
a. Your order is prepared and reserved at your chosen collection point.
b. You will receive an order confirmation email/SMS with collection details, telling you when and where to collect your items. It is not possible to collect your order before you have received this notification.
c. We cannot change the date or time of Click and Collect orders. However, you have a deadline to collect your order:
  • You have 24 hours to collect it from the store (Click & Collect) and Lockers.
  • You have 3 days (72 hours) to go to the collection points.
Please note that once this period has passed, the order will be cancelled and the order will be returned with the cost of the goods and the preparation service.
d. You can also check the status of your order in Track and manage your order.
e. Stay informed about any possible changes or delays by checking your email regularly during the collection period.
3. Order delivery:
a. Once your order is ready, you will be notified by SMS or email.
b. Make sure you know the opening hours and specific collection instructions for the store or collection point you have selected. You can find this information at IKEA stores and collection points.
c. If your order includes heavy or bulky items, make sure you have enough help.
d. You can collect your order inside or outside IKEA, in the designated and signposted delivery area (this may be near the returns/exchanges counter, goods collection point or in the car park) during your allocated time slot.
e. You must present photo ID (ID card, foreign resident ID card, passport) and proof of purchase (e.g. receipt, ticket, invoice or order confirmation email) to store staff. If someone else is collecting the order, they must bring the original order confirmation, authorisation and photo ID. If you are collecting your order from the post office, visit How to collect a parcel received by post? More information at Click & Collect.
f. Products are collected from the counter and placed on a trolley to facilitate the collection process.
g. Collect your items and load them into your vehicle. Please note that no assistance is provided for loading heavy items. Once you have collected your order, please check that you have received all items.
