What is your return policy?
At IKEA, you can change your mind! If you are not completely satisfied or have simply changed your mind, you can return your products within 365 days. IKEA will refund the amount of the returned items with the purchase receipt during this period.
- The return period will be 30 days, and only products in their original packaging, unopened and unassembled, will be accepted.
- For purchases made before 12/01/2026, the general 365‑day policy remains in place.
- If you made your purchase before 31/03/2026, you can check the return policy in force during that period here (Return Policy PDF before 31/03/2026).
- For purchases made from 01/04/2026 onwards, our current return policy will apply (Return Policy PDF from 01/04/2026).
- Products that are dirty, stained, damaged, incomplete, or modified.
- Photos printed on the Kiosk system.
- Gift cards; this method of payment cannot be exchanged or returned.
- Services that have already been provided.
- Fresh food products. These are usually found in the IKEA restaurant or bistro, and some are also available in the Swedish food market, for example, meatballs, salmon, salads, and ready meals.
- Food products with an expiration date less than or equal to the date on which the return is processed and/or where the integrity of the packaging and/or product has not been maintained. Some examples of these products are: cookies, jams, sauces, teas, beverages, among others.
- Natural plants.
- Personalised products, including those that are embroidered or made-to-measure worktops.
- You can try our mattresses for seven days; however, to be eligible for a return, they must not be damaged, torn, stained, or show any signs of poor hygiene.
- For items that are part of joint promotions and combinations, partial returns (of one of the products) will not be accepted. It will be necessary to return the entire set or combination.
