Is there an assembly service at IKEA?

IKEA offers assembly services in cooperation with trusted external partners, to make your everyday life at home easier.

You can add the assembly service online during your order in the checkout. You can also get support from our co-workers directly in one of our stores or Plan and Order Points. IKEA kitchen installation is a separate service and will be booked through a kitchen planning appointment.
We recommend booking your assembly service together with your delivery to avoid separate appointments and additional costs.
If you already made an order or already have your products at home, contact us to add assembly service and be aware that our service partners will only assemble products that are still in their original, unopened packaging and an additional call-out fee will apply.
The service price depends on the product types and time and effort they require for assembly. A base flat assembly fee applies to each assembly service. The final cost will be calculated during checkout.
The assembly team will also secure items to the wall at no additional cost, if you are providing the correct wall fixings for your wall type. For safety reasons, the assembly team may refuse to mount items on walls that are not load-bearing (i.e., walls that cannot safely support the load).
Electrical and plumbing services are excluded.
