What is the Business Interior Design Service and how does it work?
IKEA offers an Interior Design service for business customers, helping you plan and create a space that fits your company needs and reflects your business.
a. Get prepared by thinking about your style, taking photos of your room, and getting accurate measurements. Our inspiration gallery is a great source of ideas.
b. Gather and write down your ideas and questions for the consultation. Send them to us per e-mail as you arrange an appointment with us.
c. Once we have received your documents, we will send you 3 appointment options to choose from. Confirm your choice by e-mail.
a. Meet your designer either online or face-to-face to discuss your needs and wishes to create an initial concept and to complete a full analysis. (up to 60 min)
b. Within the planning phase, your designer will then develop a detailed floorplan and 3D design based on the first consultation. The duration of the planning phase is linked to the size of the project. Your designer will define a timeframe with you during the first consultation. A general guideline is 1 day for every 35m2.
c. Your designer will send you the project documents vial e-mail once completed.
The design package includes:
- A detailed floorplan: a precise 2D plan showing the optimal arrangement of all furniture.
- Photo-realistic 3D views: High-quality visuals that show you exactly what your finished interior will look like.
- Suggestions for styling, textiles, walls, and floors. Recommendations for the finishing touches that make the space feel complete.
- A complete list of all IKEA products needed to create your new interior.
- A services offer including a price estimation for delivery and assembly.
d. After receiving your designs, you have the opportunity to share feedback with your designer or request small changes to the project. Should you wish to discuss the project in more detail after reviewing your designs, a 2nd meeting (around 60 minutes) is available upon request to discuss these changes via video call.
Once all your changes have been implemented, our specialists will accompany you through the purchasing process and support you with adding services like delivery, assembly, removal and many more - to help make your dreams a reality.
