How do the IKEA Removal and Recycle services work?
IKEA provides a removal service with recycling of your old furniture, sofas, mattresses and household appliances. The products are collected and recycled in a sustainable way.
This option is only available together with a standard delivery (no parcel or curbside delivery).
While ordering a new sofa, mattress or househould appliance online, you can book removal & recycling directly whith a delivery at checkout.

Items must be fully disassembled, accessible, and able to pass through hallways and doors.
You can bring old furniture, mattresses, or appliances directly to the IKEA Customer Service desk for recycling.
IKEA also offers a professional disassembly and disposal service for kitchens and bathroom furniture.
This service must be booked at the IKEA store and paid for directly to the service partner.
If you don't want to dispose of your furniture packaging at home, you can bring it back to your IKEA store. In the car parks outside our IKEA stores you will find large containers where you can dispose of the packaging.
