IKEA Etobicoke

Yellow heart on a white background.

All IKEA Canada stores are now open to customers!

We are pleased to welcome our customers back to our store locations nationwide. In accordance with City of Toronto by-laws all customers and visitors are required to wear a mask or face covering that enter IKEA Etobicoke, beginning July 7th, 2020.

With health and safety as our top priority, we have introduced enhanced, preventative health and safety measures across the shopping experience and operations to ensure co-workers and customers feel safe to work and shop. As a result, the IKEA Restaurant and children’s play area Småland will remain closed. The IKEA Bistro will be open for takeout only in select stores. Please check your local store page for more details.

IKEA Etobicoke co-workers to plant trees

Co-workers from the IKEA Etobicoke Store will join Tree Canada this fall to plant over 300 trees and shrubs in the Birchwood Park.

The trees IKEA Etobicoke co-workers will plant provide significant benefit to communities including reducing noise, cleaning air, preventing soil erosion, protecting wetlands, helping urban wildlife and biodiversity and creating beautiful shaded places for people to play and relax in their local community.

Working at the Ingka Group means that you are part of an inspiring, fun and fast-paced environment. We’re the world’s largest home furnishing retailer, with 155,000 co-workers and operations in 43 countries, but we value working in a non-bureaucratic way. Here you can always be yourself. In fact, we actively encourage it!

At IKEA, we respect each other, our differences and are open to everyone making a contribution. So no matter where you work in the world, you’ll most likely rub shoulders with a diverse group of people – with different backgrounds, special skills and a quirky sense of humour.
