Best for under $100!NicoleI was looking for a new chair after I broke my old one. I'm of short stature (5'1-5'2 ish). I ended up getting this one! My requirements were: on the cheaper side, feels good to sit in (even for long periods), does not trigger my back pain, STURDY, can swivel, and be able to move around while sitting (must have room and not be restrictive). I had researched some chairs before coming in-person and I had my eye on a few: BLECKBERGET, ELDBERGET, FLINTAN, and this one. The reasons why I left the store with this model: 1) my green seat colour was $29-ish, so the entire chair was about $70 before tax. 2) was the most comfortable/felt sturdy. I tried different positions like leaving forward, sitting on the edge and sitting on the side of the chair. 3) Other chairs were crossed off for different reasons. Eldberget felt too restrictive and had a small seat. Flintan felt less sturdy than Orfjall (but Flintan had more cushioning). Bleckberget was okay but the seat was a bit uncomfortable.5
Good productFirieshtaSafety lock on the wheels is not good design. Unable to easily remove the safety lock. This causes hardwood or vinyl floors to be scratched easily. IKEA needs to provide the customer the option to easily remove the safety lock. 5
it's okayyy, i guess lolTtttThe chair itself is cute, but if you use it for a long time, it will be hard. This chair gave me massive back and shoulder problems; there isn't much back support. The chair swivels lock and does like to spin you around quite often. DO NOT GET THIS CHAIR IF YOU HAVE PETS THAT SHED QUITE FREQUENTLY. THE HAIRS WILL GET STUCK IN TO THE WHEELS EASILY then, your wheels will pop and fall off! not a great chair for longevity! 3

I’m not sure about the longevity of the padded cushion- it’s stapled and appears to be glued on to some kind of board. But the staples are few. It’s a comfortable chair and my back spasms went away after a few days of switching to this chair. So far so good.5
