Pleasently surprised at how great it looks and works!ElinaI was a bit nervous about this purchase because of the many negative reviews saying it's slippery and moves a lot. I bought anyway it because it's the lowest price I could find and figured that, worst case scenario, I'll be out $34 (with taxes). So, for anyone else on the fence because of the negative reviews: rest assured those people probably put the mat the wrong way up. Textured side goes up, smooth side on the floor. There is a sticker on the mat showing the write way. Also, don't know how it'll work on a carpet, but it's great on my laminate floors. I've been working all day now and it hasn't moved once. The chair rolls on it with ease. There were also many reviews about scratches; obviously, it's too early to tell about scratches, but even if they appear after a week - still worth it. Also, I wasn't sure how esthetically pleasing it would be, being clear and all, but it looks clean and professional. Highly recommend. Just put it the right way up.5

Cracks on carpetKristaI was optimistic about this floor protector, but I soon found that when used on carpet with a rolling chair, the plastic cracked repeatedly, making it unusable as the chair wheels got stuck in the cracks. Might work well for hardwood, but not for carpet.3

What is PET plastic?
