BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE Anonymous reviewerI love my wife. She bought this for herself and told me she needed help. Being the good partner I am I built it for her and our son, who is a black rex rabbit. He was a pretty good helper. I am well versed in building IKEA furniture and do not shy away from it, but this was the most difficult and frustrating piece of furniture I have ever had to build. If you need to I would get IKEA to build it for you or you will end up spending 4+ hours building this and end up depressed because of it. Looks great with my wife’s houseplants on it now.

hard to assemble, but worth itKatherinei found the instructions easy to follow, but getting some of the screws in properly was very tough and required a lot of effort. i'm very happy with this drawer unit though, now that it's assembled. the colour and style are really nice. i'm thinking of getting some locking casters to keep it from rolling around when i open the drawers. i also wish that my hanging file folders could fit in the bottom drawer without the need for the clip-on railing, but this isn't a big issue (i knew what i was getting).
Wonderful and very cute drawerIrynaThis drawer fits perfectly on height-adjustable desks. It is made of metal plates and is therefore very light in weight. The main thing is to lay out all the parts and strictly follow the instructions. The Ikea screwdriver tightened the bolts worse than a regular screwdriver.
Updated to fit hanging folders more easikyNicholasWonderful little cabinet. It has been updated from previous models and now holds A4 file folders much easier. I like many was hesitant to buy this cabinet due to the difficulty to find hanging file folders to fit in the bottom drawer. The latest model has been updated to include a small bracket that sits over the side of the right hand part of the drawer, allowing for hanging A4 folders to fit perfectly. These folders can easily be found online (Amazon) to fit. Previous iteration didn’t have this and didn’t allow for folders to fit properly - a small detail that doesn’t seem to be addressed anywhere on IKEAs website or anywhere else.
Overall I’m very happy with the unit. It takes a bit of time to build (spread out and label the screws before hand) and take your time and it goes together real easy. It’s like all other ikea furniture builds, you need to make sure the image is correct and it’s sometimes tricky but quality is great in the end!

It took a little effort to build as it is all metal but it went together perfectly.

Il faut suivre à la lettre les 36 étapes d'installation. De plus, les vis 123502 (il y en a 10 dans le caisson) sont trop grosses et leur tête étoilée ne permet pas de bien visser. J'ai changé ces vis pour des vis à tête carrée, et tout s'est bien passé pour la suite du montage. (Ça vous évite bien des casse-tête et de la frustration.)

looks great - disaster to put togetherLisaLike all the reviews I read -- it looks great. But you NEED power tools and hours to install. Instructions are lacking and screws don't really fit. I would not recommend buying it unless you have 4 + hours and power tools - or can get it built by Ikea.
