The cover in cotton and polyester fabric is dyed in different tones, which gives it a nice effect. The strong and hardwearing woven quality gives the fabric a clear texture.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

Safety and compliance

This fabric's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. A fabric that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Vimle sofabedLouisaI bought this sofabed in the red colour - it's gorgeous and gives my room the pop of colour it needs. Putting it together was a bit tricky (You Tube videos help a lot). It's comfortable to sleep on, though I did buy a mattress topper and the storage under the chaise longue is terrific. The headrests are not as comfortable as I expected - they tip my head forward more than I would like, but I am tall (176cm). The fabric bunches up a bit after sitting on it, so it needs smoothing out. My last sofa was a Kivik, and I don't think the Vimle is quite as good.5

Hmmm interesting oroductHeidiWe got the ville lounge with chaise and later decided it definitely needed the headrest. This is a moveable headrest but it doesn’t really look right. It’s a bit to short and doesn’t exactly meet the top of the lounge across and is really noticeably too short for the chaise. They need to make the tests for the lounge about two inches wider and fit the chaise about 6-8 inches wider. I also think they’re really expensive. I live a long way from Ikea and looked into having them delivered but the cost for delivery is exorbitant. As it was the lounge delivery was $200.2
