This classic bed frame will look great with your choice of textiles and bedroom furniture. You can even complete the look with other products from the SONGESAND series.

Ample storage space is hidden neatly under the bed in 4 large drawers. Perfect for storing duvets, pillows and bed linen.

SONGESAND bed storage boxes work perfectly with SONGESAND bed frame. They fit neatly into the space under the bed and will be flush against sides.

The storage boxes are easy to roll out and in thanks to the castors on the base.

You can separate your linens and duvets since the combination includes one narrow and one wide storage box.

Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

LURÖY slatted bed base with curved slats helps to absorb your body weight and supports your body, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.

Difficult to AssembleJayakumarVery difficult to assemble, too many parts. The design of the bed frame is such that it is not possible to take it apart and re-assemble when you move houses. Given this limitation, the cost is exhorbitant.3

Fabulous Bed that looks very Classy !MelissaThe Quality was better than I had imagined. Extremely sturdy and looks very classy. I purchased the Lonset bed slats and it certainly makes a difference. What I didn't realise and found very helpful was that there are 3 various heights you can place your bed base to and this governs the actual height of your overall mattress. I personally placed it on the highest setting to enable me to step off the mattress rather than lift myself off the mattress and it enabled me when making the bed to do so with ease. With securing the mattress on the highest level it did however decrease the amount of bedhead I had available to rest up against. The drawers underneath are fabulous for storage. (I purchased all four) Take note: The wheels are not 360 degrees swivel so if you purchase all 4 drawers and you have bedside tables this does limit your usage of the smaller drawers towards the bed head. Best off to store things you don't need to get to often. The assembly of the bed was not too difficult at all. In saying that, you will need two people towards the end of the assembly due to the weight of some of the components. This is possibly not a bed I would purchase if you plan on moving around alot as it is a very sturdy and heavy piece of furniture to continually dismantle and reassemble. Overall I give this bed and it's functionality 5/55

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
