Product details

If you want to create a complete children's room in the same style, you can combine the cot with the SMÅSTAD storage series – they match each other perfectly.

One cot side can be removed when the child is big enough to climb into/out of the cot.

Your child can sleep safely even after removing one cot side since a guard rail is included.

At the bottom of the cot there is a spacious drawer where you can store quilts, toys or extra bed linens.

The spacious drawer runs smoothly and closes softly and silently.

Aesthetic but only somewhat functional ...AfifaI love the look of this cot so much, having the drawer underneath is super handy but when my daughter started pulling up to stand and we had to lower the cot, it became very difficult to lay her into the cot while she is asleep without almost dropping her in. I am 163cm tall and my whole body is bent in half with my legs almost off the ground to get her into the cot. Also if I am trying to settle her, my arms don't fit through the rails and I'm not that big of a person! When the mattress is raised, it is a fine cot and absolutely perfect but I did not notice these flaws until the cot was lowered. I wouldn't recommend to anybody less than 170cm or if you're not planning to sleep train your child. I'm counting down the months until we can turn it into a toddler bed and I don't need to lower her in anymore, I literally hold my breath every time I lower her in!!3
Beautiful cotErinBeautiful cot, not difficult to build. Drawer a very helpful addition.5
Stunning. Worth the wait!NissanWe got the change table on sale so the matching cot was a must. It was a little frustrating to see it in stock online, go into the store, pay for it but then be told they don't have any. We waited just under 4 weeks and it finally was back in stock. Husband says it was much easier to assemble than the change table and it's absolutely stunning inside/out. It's height adjustable and has a huge drawer to fit blankets, bed sheets + sleep sacks. Love that it will see us through from baby to a little girl.5
Beautiful and flexible cot!SonjaThis cot is designed well, has nice finishes, changing levels, drawers for storage and transition to a toddler bed - what more do you need? Was easy to assemble and the Ikea team were great to work with regarding delivery, etc. Highly recommend this product from Ikea.5
So beautifulKaiWe spent a little extra money this time round, our 2nd child's cot is the Sundvik. We can definitely tell the difference in quality between the two. This one for our daughter is so much more feminine and will quite easily be a princess bed for her, or a dinosaur warrior either one 😂 I was tossing up spending the extra money for months, but I would definitely recommend it.5

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
