Great furniture which looks goodTerryVery happy with the MALM chest of drawers. Looks great in a number of settings. Easy to put together and instructions were easy to follow. We struggled a bit to work out which side was the back and the front when fitting the drawer section to the top. The plastic fittings used to tighten the side panels of the drawer to the front are not as good as the metal fittings and having even one spare plastic fitting would be useful if one breaks rather only having the exact number required would not be seen as over-generous. But overall it is great and we went back and bought the six-drawer and two of the two-drawer MALMS (plus picked up a replacement platic fitting).

I found the instructions super easy to follow and I’m so grateful that IKEA does not put numbered stickers (e.g 1,2,3) on the pieces of furniture. I find that these are hard to peel off - so another bonus about these drawers!
