Light and useful for my laundryJuliaI love this product. It's really light, and I find it much easier to carry my washing down to the laundry in this than using the laundry basket in the bathroom. Also means the laundry basket stays there for others to still use. Being stiff, it stays open for sorting washing and throwing into the mouth of it, rather than a cloth bag you have to keep opening. Really useful and really cheap. Could also be used for storing pet toys and paraphernalia or kids' toys. It seems quite sturdy.5

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
